Morfa Mawddach Visitor Information
This small railway station at the south end of Barmouth bridge was once the third biggest in Wales under its previous title of “Barmouth Junction”, with 5 platforms linking the railway inland to Dolgellau and beyond with the Cambrian Coast line.

It is only a short walk across the famous Barmouth Bridge to all the facilities at Barmouth and the start and finish of both the Mawddach Way and the Mawddach Trail. There is free parking and public toilets beside the station, though the toilets are sometimes locked mid-week out of season. Morfa Mawddach Map & Directions

From hill-top memorials to beach defences, there are over 50 different sites in and around the Mawddach Estuary to be explored on foot, by bike or by car. See here for further details.
